Your Chart Knew Before You Did Astrocartography and the Art of Moving with Purpose
I have been in a relationship with astrology since I could read.
It was one of the first subjects that made me feel like the universe was speaking directly to me. Not at me. Not around me. To me. And over the decades that relationship has deepened from horoscopes to natal charts to understanding the architecture of who I am through the lens of the planets.
So when I decided to move abroad it made complete sense to consult the chart.
What I was looking for specifically is called astrocartography. It is the practice of mapping your natal chart onto the geography of the world to reveal which locations activate which planetary energies for you. Every place on earth sits on a different line for every person. And depending on which planet rules that line the experience of living there will feel completely different.

When I ran my astrocartography chart for Mexico what came up surprised me.
My MC line. The midheaven. The line of career, public life, reputation, and ambition. I was perplexed at first because I thought you need a work permit to work in Mexico. I was moving there to live, not necessarily to build an empire.
Four years later I have multiple businesses and multiple brands. I have spent the majority of my time in Merida working. Building. Producing. Consulting. Creating. So consumed by the hustle that I missed the cultural isolation creeping in around me because I was too busy building to notice. The chart did not lie. It told me exactly what Mexico would activate and it was right about every single thing.
Now I am preparing to move again. And of course I ran the chart for the Dominican Republic.
What came up this time stopped me in my tracks.
Venus and Jupiter.
Venus is love, beauty, pleasure, connection, harmony and the deep desire to be seen and received as you are. Jupiter is expansion, abundance, optimism, growth and the opening of doors you did not even know existed. Together on the same line they are one of the most auspicious combinations in astrocartography.
And it lines up perfectly with everything I have been writing about lately. The cultural isolation. The longing for resonance. The soul looking for its reflection. The part of me that has been building for four years and is now ready to receive.
The chart knew before I did.
